Winter Favorites from Everlane: A Brand You Need to Know

Hey friends… it’s been a minute! Coming at you with my first blog post of 2020. Last year ended in a whirlwind with the holidays and then my friends Carly & Troy’s wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. Not only that, but I’ve been thinking a lot about my career and there are some big things coming that I’m really excited about. More on that later… 🙂 All of this to say that I didn’t have as much time to sit down and write these past two months as I would have liked. It feels great to be putting this post together, especially since it’s one that I’m super excited about.

I wanted to share one of my favorite brands, Everlane, and a few amazing winter pieces (both women’s AND men’s!) that they’re carrying right now (linked at the bottom of the post). Everlane is such a cool company… you’ve been missing out if you haven’t heard of them yet! Prepare for your life (or at least your wardrobe) to be changed. Their entire collection is full of high quality staples that are both trendy and timeless.

I have been lucky enough to work with Everlane in the past and thought it would be fun to do this shoot featuring some of their winter pieces with Udenze. (I introduced him to Everlane when I got him one of their backpacks for his birthday in November, and he’s been using it for work every day)! Here Udenze is wearing their Heavyweight Overshirt in ‘ochre’ and their Leather Bomber Jacket. I am wearing their Teddy Crew Neck Sweater in black and Italian Rewool Coat in toffee.

The great thing about Everlane is that their clothes are made to last a long time. You can just tell that they are constructed super well and will hold up nicely. Not only that, but they are perfect for building a wardrobe that mixes and matches easily. Choosing a couple things from a few main categories will give you endless outfit opportunities because of their classic, neutral vibe. I recommend checking out their basic tees, sweaters, jeans, pants, (these cropped pants are my FAVORITE, but size two sizes down in this specific pair- trust me) and boots.

Just in case you aren’t already sold, they say “At Everlane, we want the right choice to be as easy as putting on a great T-shirt. That’s why we partner with the best, ethical factories around the world. Source only the finest materials. And share those stories with you—down to the true cost of every product we make. It’s a new way of doing things. We call it Radical Transparency.

This is SO important these days more than ever. I have been trying to be more conscientious of the clothes I buy and where they come from. High quality, ethically-sourced clothes are definitely worth the price. Quality not quantity people!

To close out this post I wanted to share some of the best winter clothing items from Everlane – according to me and Udenze, that is. 🙂 Both of us picked out a few of our favorite things from their site to make it easier for you guys! I’ve also included the pieces that we are wearing above. Happy shopping!
