A Gals Getaway at the Charter Hotel

Autumn Sorelle + Charter Hotel

Hey friends! Recently I had the chance to have a fun girl’s night at the Charter Hotel with my friend Rohini and we had the best time. Not only is the Charter located in a convenient spot in the heart of downtown Seattle (just a block from Pike Place Market), it also has a sleek interior that’s both comfortable and polished. It is such a great hotel option for tourists who are just here for a couple days to see the city as well as people like us who were looking for a fun staycation!

Dinner at Patagōn

For dinner we checked out their restaurant downstairs, Patagōn, which serves Argentinian-inspired cuisine. We did the Somm’s Prix Fixe menu which consists of three courses to share between two + a bottle of wine chosen by the sommelier. I believe they typically have this menu available on Sundays and Mondays from 5-10pm so if you live here in Seattle, be sure to check it out! (Even if you aren’t staying at the Charter). 🙂

By the end of this meal we were so stuffed we could barely move… everything was SO delicious. It’s hard to choose but I think our favorite course was probably the pappardelle pasta. The asian pear cobbler we had for dessert was also insanely good.

Drinks at Fog Room

On the 16th floor of the hotel is Fog Room, their beautiful rooftop bar & lounge with great views of downtown. It was too chilly to hangout outside at this time of year so I’m definitely planning to come back in the summertime and enjoy the patio that’s complete with fireplaces, cozy chairs, and all!

Rohini and I are both huge fans of whiskey sours so we decided to finish our night off with these and they were really tasty.

Our room

The room we were in had two queen beds (which were very comfortable I must say) and a pretty view of downtown. We also had a coffee machine and a great snack bar, a nice TV, a big armoire and drawers for clothes, and a clean, simple bathroom with great lighting (crucial!). Overall we really loved the room and thought it was perfect for the two of us.

Rohini and I had such a great time at the Charter Hotel for our fun ‘girlfriend’s getaway’… I definitely recommend it for anyone who might be looking for a hotel here in Seattle.

Also, THANK YOU to everyone who entered my Instagram giveaway with the Charter and Fog Room! I am planning to do more fun giveaways like this throughout the year (hopefully one a month) so stay tuned.

As always, I appreciate you checking out the post and hope have a wonderful day. 🙂

XO Sorelle
