The Three Items I Can’t Stop Wearing

Hi friends! Hope your week is off to a lovely start. Personally I LOVE this time of year… Christmas is so special and I’m such a sucker for everything that goes along with it. The lights, music, activities, decorating, yummy food – so good.

Today I want to share a few things from my wardrobe that I’ve been wearing on repeat recently. They are such great staples that I have gotten a TON of use out of! I love when I can take an item and style it so many different ways for so many different occasions – all three of these things are like that. 🙂

Black Turtleneck

The first piece I can’t stop wearing is the black short-sleeve turtleneck I’m wearing under my blazer. It’s from a clothing brand that I recently discovered and quickly fell in love with – Billie the Label. They were founded by a former Design & Buying Director for Reformation! “For the modern woman who’s unapologetic about who she is and what she wears, Billie the Label seeks to underline her confidence through effortless yet elevated staples.” I have really been trying to build my wardrobe with pieces that are simultaneously classic and trendy. Pieces that are well made and that I’ll wear A TON, not just a couple times. This is exactly what their brand is all about! The turtleneck is so perfect for layering under blazers like this (which is also from Billie the Label!), coats, sweaters, you name it. I had a similar one but it was much thinner so I’m stoked to have one that’s higher quality!

Doc Marten’s

Second would have to be my Dr. Marten’s ‘Leona’ boots. If you follow me on Instagram you know I’ve posted about these a lot! I love how they make any outfit feel just a bit trendier. They are great to pair with jeans like I did here, or even dresses and skirts. A current trend I love is wearing a more feminine type dress with masculine boots like these (sort of like I did here). I find the contrast really fun/spunky. 🙂

Dr. Marten’s are known to last forever and I can definitely attest to that! I’ve had these for over a year now and they look just as nice as they did when I got them, they are just a bit more broken in. The one thing is that the thin lace style is pretty flimsy… the laces have broken on both of my boots. However, you can easily order new ones online for pretty cheap if that happens.

Marc Jacobs Crossbody

The last item would be my Marc Jacobs ‘Snapshot’ crossbody bag. I have been using this beauty almost every day for the past month. A friend of mine was able to help me get it on MAJOR sale, so I was able to justify the purchase. That said, I would definitely pay full price after realizing how much use I’m getting out of it. It is so well made and although it’s a bit of a funky color, it looks good with practically everything in my closet. (Although I will say that today I wore it with a yellow puffer coat because I was in a rush… definitely wasn’t my best look lol. Oh well).

Like I said, all three of these items – the turtleneck, boots, and bag, have been my go-tos recently. I don’t see that changing anytime soon! I highly encourage you to focus on finding things like this that you’ll wear and love for a long time. It is a lot more sustainable than constantly buying new things and getting rid of them just months later. 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to check out this post! ILY all!
