10 Activities for Getting into the Fall Spirit

Hey you guys! I’m so pleased to report that fall has been nothing short of BEAUTIFUL in Seattle so far. Yes it can get pretty gloomy and rainy around here, but we do have plenty of gorgeous sunny days. It rains far less than people think. I would say July – October are our strongest months weather-wise.

It has been 70 degrees and sunny quite a bit recently! Weather like this makes an ideal setting for fall adventures.

Last Sunday my mom and I drove up to Snohomish, Washington (about an hour drive from where we live) and visited Stocker Farms to take advantage of their U-Pick sunflower fields. It was the coolest spot complete with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, coffee stand, and more. It really got me thinking about how much I love this beautiful season and all of the colors and cozy vibes that come along with it. (The fact that it’s named after me is pretty neat too 😉 )  So, I figured why not share some of my favorite ways to get into the fall (autumn) spirit!

2. Light your favorite fall candle (my current fav is the vanilla + pumpkin one from Trader Joe’s)

3. Make mulled wine (good recipe here!)

5. Visit a local pumpkin patch/corn maze

6. Plan a pumpkin-carving party

7. Stock up on fall staples for your closet: chunky sweaters, scarves, booties

10. Cozy up with some apple cider

Hope you have a lovely fall season!
