Birthday Staycation at the New Palihotel Downtown Seattle

This past weekend I had the opportunity to stay at the new Palihotel in downtown Seattle and it DID NOT disappoint… it was such a nice way to conclude my 24th bday celebration!

There are four Palihotels in California but this is the first one in Seattle – it just opened in November of 2018. I believe there are more in the works for CA and one coming to Portland as well. Hoping one day I’ll be able to stay at the other locations because this one is a dream!

Here are some photos so you can see what I mean…

Eclectic, Vintage, Cozy

I LOVED the vibe inside – it’s a boutique hotel so everything is super curated and well decorated, but there’s no gym or pool or anything. Perfect place for a weekend stay! Not to mention the ideal location… it’s just a block from Pike Place Market and a few more from all of the shopping. Udenze and I had the best time just walking around the city on Saturday since the weather was so beautiful.

Ummm can I have that rug please?! Love the pattern and colors.

The common area / living room below was unreal. Books everywhere, comfy chairs and couches, a zillion plants, the coolest art, and a fireplace to top it all off. I could’ve sat in here for hours… Wish we would’ve had more time!

King Studio Room

This room was sooo lovely. Spacious, super comfortable bed (I’m on the hunt to find the pillows for my own bed haha), the most adorable Smeg appliances, and a stunning view of the Seattle waterfront.

The Hart and the Hunter

Inside the hotel is a spunky little restaurant called The Hart and the Hunter. They serve the tastiest Southern-inspired food in a fun antique-y, Western, diner setting. We went for brunch and I am still drooling thinking about the biscuits lol. Trust me when I say you NEED to try them during your next visit to Seattle whether you’re staying at the Palihotel or not. They melt in your mouth and are served with maple butter, jam, and pimento cheese. Yup.

I actually had the chance to eat here last month for a Galentine’s Blogger Brunch and we were able to sample more of the menu – that being said I also recommend their French toast; eggs benedict; and the toast with mushrooms, herbs, & scrambled eggs!

Everything about the Palihotel was cozy and overwhelmingly Instagrammable (hate that word but it’s true haha). Please let me know if you have any questions! Definitely recommend staying here on your next visit to Seattle – or for a staycation like I did if you’re a local.
