Where to Shop for Your NYE Outfit

Hi beauties! Merry Christmas! I’m having a super chill Christmas Eve morning so I thought I’d write a quick New Year’s Eve outfit guide type blog post for all of you. Yesterday when I asked on my Instagram story if this was something you still wanted to see, most people voted yes! So, here we are.

First off I have to say that New Years can be one of the most anti-climatic holidays ever. Anyone else agree?! All of this build up to one moment and then it’s over. There also seems to be this huge pressure to have extravagant plans… why?! As long as you’re with people you love it shouldn’t matter what you’re doing. 🙂

I’ll share a few links to some of my favorite NYE-looking pieces I found online below (both casual and for going out). But before that, I wanna share where I’ve had luck finding something to wear last minute at the mall in the past – since it’s getting a bit late to be online shopping. I’m that girl… Always scrambling to find an outfit for holidays like New Years, Fourth of July, etc. the day before haha. I don’t typically buy an entire new look but I like to pair something new with some of my old favorite pieces. And I don’t usually go alllll out but I still like to look cute. What girl doesn’t?

Here’s where I’ve scored previously when searching for a NYE getup in person:

  • Forever 21. They have a TON of festive things at very inexpensive prices. When it’s something I won’t wear often, I don’t really like to splurge.
  • The Topshop department at Nordstrom. Super into their funky clothes. Last year I found a black and silver fringy purse that I still use and love!
  • Urban Outfitters. Their dress section is always on point! They aren’t toooo crazy out-there either which means you’ll most likely be able to wear it for other occasions.
  • Zara. Especially this year… oh my word. The NYE collection they have is insane. So much glitter, sequins, fringe – but all really tasteful and not too over-the-top. They also have the best classic black clothes which would be good if you’re doing something more low-key for the holiday.
