Recently I have been seeing a ton of pleather / leather / vinyl clothing everywhere and I’m here for it. It feels sort of bad-ass and edgy but timeless and classic at the same time. This brings me to a particularly fun item of clothing…
LEATHER PANTS. Well, faux leather pants in this case. They can be so tricky to find. I had been wanting a cute pair for awhile but was having a hard time finding some that fit well and were flattering + easy-ish to get on. I finally came across this pair at H&M last week and was so happy with them! Of course they’re not super high quality, but they seem pretty well made given the $40 price point. They have a button and zipper closure, pockets, and seams down the front. I love the cropped style too – so cute with booties or heels. (Honestly I sorta wish I would’ve done strappy heels for this look… next time)!
Statement items like this can be sort of intimidating sometimes, but it’s all about pairing them with the right things. I paired mine with a cotton snake print top, another trend that’s been around for a bit now. I love both animal prints and shades of green so I couldn’t pass up this $10 top! Patterned turtlenecks/mock necks, chunky sweaters, or basic white tees are all things that go well with leather pants. And always remember that confidence helps too – just tell yourself you’re going to rock it and go with it. 🙂
Unfortunately I couldn’t find these exact leather pants on H&M’s site… but here are a few pairs from them + other retailers that look promising!
