Summer to Fall Style with Aritzia

Fall is HERE friends! Not in full swing quite yet, but I can definitely feel it in the air. The mornings are getting chillier and fall things are popping up everywhere… like pumpkin spice lattes (such a controversial topic lol – I personally am not a fan) and Halloween decorations.

I have to admit I’m sad to see summer go… it is STUNNING here in Seattle. The weather is perfect and all of the trees and water make for such a pretty backdrop. However, I do really love fall fashion (give me all the cute coats and boots!) so super excited about that.

It can get a little tricky deciding what to wear during this transition period between summer and fall. Today I’m partnering with one of my favorite brands, Aritzia, to share two looks that work well for summer to fall style!

Burnt Orange + Bootcut Jeans

This first outfit features this feminine orange blouse from Aritzia. This particular color is sold out (might come back though!) but it also comes in black/green, cream, solid black, and yellow. I think the black one would be such a nice staple for fall (and even winter). How cute would it be paired with a skirt and tights?! I might need it hehe. The blouse’s slightly cropped structure makes it perfect for summer to fall style when paired with high-waisted jeans like this.

The ruffling on the bottom edge and sleeves of this blouse is so pretty to me. One trend I’ve been seeing a lot of for fall 2019 is romantic, flowy, girly details like lace, ruffles, and poofy sleeves. Aritzia has an entire collection dedicated to this trend on their website called Fall Romance – I love pretty much every item on that page.

Meet Keno (below) who stopped to chat with my mom and I when he saw us taking photos. At first we were a little unsure because he sort of called out from his bike, but we talked for a few minutes and he was really nice. It was the perfect example of how “we’re all just people” – something my mom has always said. 🙂

To finish this outfit I added my favorite white booties! I’ve loved wearing these booties throughout spring and summer and I definitely think they’ll be acceptable in early fall as well.

Also, not surprisingly, I added my go-to gold watch from Nacre. I have been wearing this thing almost every single day… but I recently got their new Lune 8 style so now I can switch it up. 🙂

Lace + Leather

The second outfit is centered around this gorgeous lace satin camisole, also from Aritzia! It is so delicate yet well-made at the same time. I decided to keep it more casual and wear it with some vintage Guess jeans.

A great tip for summer to fall style is to pair a tank with a leather jacket like I did for this look. This way you can easily take it off if it’s a bit warmer!

Since it’s still pretty warm here in Seattle, I chose these strappy heels to complete the look. They have a cute snake print heel which spices them up just a little! I love little details like that. 🙂 And since they’re black, they can fly for fall a bit better than white or nude open-toed shoes.
