Wow hello friends! I can’t believe it has been a month since I last wrote a blog post. I fell out of my groove for a little bit there… ultimately I really would like to be posting one blog post per week. Whenever my mom and I don’t get the chance to take photos, I make an excuse that I don’t have “fresh content” so I don’t post anything. I’m really going to work on not letting that hold me back though, because there are usually ways to repurpose what I already have in order to bring you guys valuable posts.
Today I’m sharing this adorable summery look (thanks to Lulus!) with all of you. It’s so perfect for a date night or fun event… I love it because it feels put together but flirty and not too fancy. And the polka dot + satin combo is amazing in my opinion. 🙂
Lately I’ve realized that I am SUCH a sucker for midi skirts. They’re perfect for transitioning from work to a night out because they’re long enough to be professional, but can be made to look super sexy just by adding a top like this one. This particular skirt is my new favorite… it comes in NINE colors and is such a good staple. I want to order like five more lol. Fits true to size – I’m wearing a four.
To finish off the outfit (because accessories and shoes always help round it out) I added some yellow tassel earrings, a matching gold/yellow purse, and clear/nude strappy heels. To be honest I’m not sure how long I could walk in the heels cause they wouldn’t really stay on my feet, but they are v cute. 🙂
