What’s up guys! So a lot of you may know that in addition to my go-to retail stores like Zara, Urban Outfitters, and Nordstrom, I like to shop at boutiques. It feels really good to support local small businesses, and a lot of times the clothing items are more unique since they’re often specially curated for that specific shop! Recently some of the best boutiques here in Seattle really came through for me… You’ll see what I mean.
This weekend I’m super excited to be heading to Upstream Music Fest + Summit here in Seattle, a festival showcasing both local and national artists. Upstream is taking place in one of my favorite parts of the city, Pioneer Square, across 15+ venues from large outdoor stages to small coffee shops to nightclubs. I’ll be kicking it off tonight (Friday, 6/1/2018) with my little sister Layne by going to Miguel, Little Dragon, KYLE, and Charlotte Day Wilson! Anyways… I decided hey, what better way to get ready for a Seattle festival than to do some shopping at a few of the best Seattle boutiques? SO I visited three different boutiques and put together four fun festival outfits using what I found!
In this post I’m going to share photos of the boutiques themselves, why they are Seattle gems, and include links to their Instagram AND website so you can get more info on them if you’re curious (or want to shop their online stores!). I’ll also share a few pics of the looks I created with their item(s).
Pipe and Row
Pipe and Row is actually in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, which is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but has 10x the charm. When I went in I was able to meet their owner, Kayla, who was so sweet! She opened the shop in 2014 and lemme tell you guys it is the cutest thing ever. Her style both with the items they carry and the interior design of the boutique itself is honestly out of this world! The perfect blend of edgy, modern, chic, and comfortable. If that’s even a thing haha. (It is). Loved Pipe and Row so much I had to create two looks with their clothes…
The Shop
The First Look
Featuring the Corduroy Pinafore Dress in dusty blue
The Second Look
Featuring the Kiwi Linen Tank
Moorea Seal
Ever heard of the book The 52 Lists Project? Moorea Seal wrote that book (& others), and she also has this storefront in Seattle among many other accomplishments. (Definition of a Girl Boss…)! The aesthetics in her boutique are on point, and they sell the cutest clothing, shoes, accessories, home goods, and more. The best part: it’s affordable. Of course, as with any boutique, there are things that are pricier than others. But that said, it’s pretty reasonable all things considered!
The Shop
The Look
Featuring the Mesh Tee in white, The Bralette in yellow, & the Tortoise Eclipse Hoops.
Sway and Cake
If you live in the Seattle area and you’ve never been to Chophouse Row up on Capitol Hill, it’s a must. It’s the cutest historic building complex that has a few restaurants, bars, and retail spaces. Sway and Cake is in the Piston & Ring Building of Chophouse Row. It is tiny but PACKED with cute things. They carry more designer brands, so it’s a little higher-end and a bit more expensive. I went to an event there over the holidays that my friend Megan planned and I fell in love! Huge fan of their accessories and graphic tee selection.
The Shop
The Look
Featuring ‘Stax Records’ Printed Tee Faded Black.
BOOM that’s it!
Thanks so much for taking a look at this post and spending some time on my blog! Really hope you enjoyed learning a bit more about a few of the best clothing boutiques here in Seattle. If you’re located here in Washington, be sure to visit them when you get a chance! If not, definitely check out their websites… a lot of what’s in their brick-and-mortar shops should be listed on their online store.
OH! And be sure to tune into my Instagram story this weekend to see what Upstream is all about!
XO Sorelle
woah, thanks for such a cool list! I’m definitely gonna check all of them out this weekend! Love all of your outfits, too!
Yay! Thank you! 🙂
Danggg girl. Killing it! I LOVE Moorea Seal so much but haven’t heard of the other two shops. I’m definitely going to have to check them out now.

Tina
