The Best of the Best for Women’s Jeans

Helloooo everyone! Some of you may remember that awhile back I posted on both my Instagram story and Facebook asking if you guys would fill me in on your favorite jeans brands. I was on the hunt for a few reliable pairs of denim at the time, and was ready to try something new! Sooo I bought three new pairs based on your suggestions, each in a different price range, and am going to review them in this post. I’m giving you the complete low-down: their quality, how they fit, what occasions they’re perfect for, and how I styled them. After each review you’ll find links to shop the jeans + my complete look. 🙂

Pick #1: TOPSHOP

Joni High Waist Skinny Jeans

With 23 votes, Topshop came in first place. Topshop jeans have always been one of my go-tos, so I wasn’t surprised when most of you said they were your favorite brand. They’re reasonably priced, comfortable, and the quality is pretty good. To prevent these from fading, the first thing I did was soak them in cold water & white vinegar for an hour and then wash them on cold. So far so good! These jeans are incredibly stretchy and fit super well.

• PRICE: $65 !!! Are you kidding me?! Such a good price!
• PERFECT FOR: Lots of occasions! Work, going out, etc.
• WEAR WITH: Fun patterns and colors (or neutrals, whichever’s your jam).
• SIZING: TTS (true to size), if between sizes then size up! Ex: it’s either 26 or 28 in Topshop, I went with 28×32.

Side note: I have a feeling kimonos are going to be HUGE this spring! Shop a few of my favorites below to pair with your new jeans.

Pick #2: MADEWELL

10-Inch High Waist Drop Hem Skinny Jeans

Next on the list was Paige, followed by Levi’s, and both are brands I’ve already owned. For this pair I wanted to try something new, so I skipped to the next one… Madewell! This is my very first pair from Madewell and I’m really happy with them. The denim is nice and thick but still has a good amount of stretch, hugging in the right places. I also love how they’re high-waisted but not tooooo high-waisted. The buttons and drop hem make them just a bit trendier than your average skinny jean. And finally, the wash makes them suitable for any season!

• PRICE: $135 (worth every penny!)
• PERFECT FOR: Every day wear.
• WEAR WITH: Anything… Dress up or down!
• SIZING: They run big! Order a size down.

Pick #3: AG

Phoebe High Rise Straight Leg Jeans (Bering Wave)

Following Madewell was AG! Another brand I hadn’t worn until now. I’ve always stayed away from AG because of the price, but recently I had a realization. Jeans are definitely worth investing in. We typically wear them a few times a week… and the better quality they are the longer they’ll last!

If you’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of boyfriend-style denim, look no further than these. Huge fan of the mid-rise fit. They’re tight through the butt and thighs and then looser on the leg which is exactly what I wanted. The distressed hem has to be my favorite part about this pair of AG denim. I’m really looking forward to wearing these with fun sandals once it gets warmer outside! Trust me… you need these! Great staple/great quality so definitely worth the money.

• PRICE: $225 (also worth every penny – amazing quality!)
• PERFECT FOR: Every day wear – during spring and summer especially.
• WEAR WITH: Bright colors OR neutrals. Booties, sneakers, sandals.
• SIZING: Slightly big.
