ALL MY SEATTLE GALS! Looking for a hair stylist or just in the mood to switch up your hair routine and try something new?
A few weeks ago I had an all-around amazing experience with Hunter, a local Seattle hair stylist! Not only is Hunter super knowledgable about hair, she’s also just fun to be around and easy to talk to. I feel like that’s a trait we should all look for in a hair stylist being that we typically spend up to 4 hours with them at a time depending what we get done. Might as well find them enjoyable, right?!
As I said, this girl really knows what she’s doing. Hunter recently left SEVEN salon in Bellevue where she worked for 5 years and became a senior stylist. While there she taught color classes to her coworkers, as well as hair photography in order to help them with social media. She also worked for the SEVEN Haircare product line, doing hair and makeup for photoshoots and producing content for their social media!
Hunter felt like it was time to branch out of her comfort zone and try something new, so she opened up her own solo hair studio in Ballard, a little neighborhood in Seattle. It is such a great location. After my hair appointment my sister & I walked over to the Ballard Farmer’s Market, just one block from her salon, where we found some cute boutiques and devoured some mini donuts. The whole area is adorable!
Anywaysss let’s just say I really trusted her with my hair and she didn’t disappoint. I gave her a basic idea of what I wanted and let her run with it… it turned out even better than I envisioned. She gave me a layered/textured bob with cool, ashy-toned color. No clue if I’m describing that right but the bottom line is I LOVE IT!
So, if you’re due to get your hair done (just in time for the holidays!), or you’re feeling like you want to get it done for fun, definitely contact Hunter & tell her I sent you! You can find her contact info at the end of the post.
