Hey there! Today I am SO excited to talk a little bit about Baleen Jewelry, a local company I came across just last week. I discovered their brand while shopping in Satori Boutique, located in Tacoma, WA (post to come on Satori soon), and instantly fell in love with Baleen’s style and the story behind it. Keep reading to see which of their pieces I chose!
Baleen Jewelry was started in 2013 by an adorable couple, Billy and Leah. In 2015 they opened their brick and mortar store in the cute little neighborhood of Ballard, Seattle. Their products are also sold on their website, as well as in select boutiques.
Essentially every Baleen Jewelry piece is handmade by them and their small staff, and they focus on maintaining high-quality at a reasonable price (hard to find nowadays!). Their style is modern and chic, with something for everyone! They make a variety of bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings, and other accessories.
Here’s what I chose… How cute is the packaging?!
I am loving the drop earring style that’s in right now, so I was really happy when I found these at Satori! They are awesome quality and are very lightweight and comfortable. The posts are 14k gold-plated, so if you have sensitive ears like me you’ll be safe. I love the elegant matte finish and modern shape! They also come in gold/black.
